
ABOUT
McKinna Learning Academy is an elementary and middle school for Neurodivergent Learners ages 7 to 13 providing customized and specialized education above and beyond a child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Our customized curriculum and 8:1 student to teacher ratio has yielded successful transitions into traditional high school and beyond for over 500 students since 2008. classes are led by expert teachers. Serves high-functioning and twice exceptional children with Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Disorder, Autism and Oppositional Defiant Disorder by creating specialized and customized learning plans for each student. Our elementary and middle school program includes mathematics, reading, writing, humanities, science, Spanish, music, art, and physical education for all ages.

We also offer one-to-one educational therapy, subject-based tutoring, and after school homework club.

During the summer months, our summer programs are designed to help students practice necessary skills such as writing and math, in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Our educational therapists and credentialed teachers provide a broad range of individualized educational strategies and techniques to meet the individual needs of each of our students.

Our five classrooms are equipped with monitors and technology for virtual learning and streaming, and we use Google classroom to streamline the instruction process for in-person and virtual learners.​​
