Since 2008, the Point Dume School has been cultivating students in the Malibu, Conejo Valley, Santa Monica and West Los Angeles areas.

Point Dume School is unique independent progressive upper elementary, middle and high school with enrollment from 2nd through 12th grade. Small multi-age classes are led by expert teachers (8:1 ratio).  Our 2-12 curriculum is designed to be both individualized and differentiated to enable all types of learners to reach their full potential.  Our full day school program schedule includes mathematics, reading, writing, humanities, science, Spanish, music, art, and physical education for all ages.

We also offer one-to-one educational therapy, subject-based tutoring, after school homework club, and a variety of complete academic assessments.

During the summer months, our summer programs are designed to help students practice necessary skills such as writing and math, in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Our educational therapists and credentialed teachers provide a broad range of individualized educational strategies and techniques to meet the individual needs of each of our students.

Point Dume Schoolis located in a recently renovated 1,600 square foot facility in Malibu. Our five classrooms are equipped with monitors and technology for virtual learning and streaming, and we use Google classroom to streamline the instruction process for in-person and virtual learners.

Each student has access to a locker where they may store their personal possessions and food during the day. 

​

Our facility has private bathrooms for use only by Point Dume School students and staff, and though we do not have a playground, we have outdoor space the is conducive for art classes, science experiments, instructional learning, and fresh-air study breaks. We are walking distance from the beach.
